The "Women, Peace and Security" Association in the framework of the project "Coaching for employment" funded by Swiss Contact and GIZ, with participants of groups from the city of Berat, Vlora, Durres and Pogradec have jointly decided to implement 14 community activities, where as focus groups are children, the elderly, women and girls with social problems, clean environment in the touristic area of Berat , Tushemisht ,Pogradec ect.
Community activities are activities that help the community as a whole but at the same time establish the possibility for feeling useful for people in need, as well as the environment of the community in which we live.
These community activities were selected from group meetings where the project participants, after observing the community needs, doing a deep analysis later for their implementation, have selected those activities that the community needs the most and their realization is available from participants.

During the development of the themes of community activities, was held in attention ։

• Awareness of young people as well as the community as a whole about environmental maintenance / cleanliness
• Animation, maintenance and cleanliness in gardens, residential development centers, etc.
• Young people assisting the elderly in the Social Centers
• The young people in support of the Center for Orphan Children.
• Youth in support of the Shelter Center for Women and Girls regarding the reintegration of victims of trafficking.

It was achieved through the implementation of community activities at each center or different environment that was planned on individual topics to successfully accomplish all the planned objectives.

• Community members were commited to improve the infrastructure of the entertainment facilities, thereby contributing to the development and well-being of children.
• Community members were sensitized to give due attention to marginalized groups.
• Children were entertained through games developed by the participants as well as through coloring drawings.
• Children from social work schools or residential development centers were also engaged.
• Increase the capacity and practical skills of beneficiaries accommodated in the shelter and were introduced to the used brushes of oil paint, brush lime and Rylie hidromat for painting with paint wall.
• Organization of recreational activities with some of the children centers, conducted paintings, drawings and games.
• They were given gift package which contained various sweets, fruits and fruit juices.
• They were given gift packs which contain various school supplies, colored pencils, ruler sheet, sheet with color pencils.
• They plant lemon, orange and tangerine trees, an enrichment that will bear fruit for many years.
• The painting of the benches and the children's park was carried out.
• Improved the hygiene and maintenance of public spaces by providing a colorful overview.
• As far as the participants were concerned, they felt quite good and confident with their efforts to succeed in the initiatives they undertake and the tasks assigned to them.
