Shoqata "Gender, Paqe e Siguri" zhvilloi ditën e sotme, takimin e rradhës ndërgjegjësues në ambjentet e Qendrës Komunitare Multifunksionale Nish-Tulla. Pjesë e këtij takimi ishin gra, vajza, burra e djem, anëtarë të komunitetit të zonës së Nish-Tullës, Durrës. Pjesëmarrësit u njohën me Ligjin Nr. 9669 datë 18.12.2006 "Për masat ndaj dhunës në marrëdhëniet familjare" i ndryshuar, konceptet kryesore të tij, duke ndaluar specifikisht tek dhuna në familje dhe ajo me bazë gjinore, mënyra e raportimit dhe shërbimet që ofrohen nga aktorët vendorë si pjesë e mekanizmit referues kundër dhunës në familje.
Nga vetë pjesëmarrësit u ngritën për diskutim shkaqet që sjellin dhunën në familje, duke veçuar si shkaktarë kryesorë problemet ekonomike brenda familjes dhe konsumimin e alkoolit e lëndëve narkotike nga ana e bashkëshortëve. Diskutime ngjalli gjithashtu edhe fakti që ligji për dhunën në familje, konsiderohet shpesh si ligji që mbron gratë, kur në të vërtetë mbron viktimëm e dhunës në familje, qoftë grua, burrë, vajzë, djalë.
Ky aktivitet u realizua në kuadër të projektit “Adresimi i dhunës në familje dhe dhunës me bazë gjinore në Bashkinë Durrës dhe Njësinë Administrative Ishëm”.
The Association "Gender, Peace and Security", organised today the next awareness meeting in the premises of the Multifunctional Community Center Nish Tulla, Durrës Municipality. Women, girls, men and boys, part of Nish Tulla community attended the meeting. Participants were introduced to Law No. 9669 date 18.12.2006 "On measures against violence in family relationships" amended, its main concepts, the way of reporting and the services offered by local actors as part of the Local Referral Mechanism against domestic violence. The participants discussed about the causes of domestic violence, singling out the economic problems and consumption of alcohol and narcotics by the husbands, as main causes. The discussion was also focused in the fact that the Domestic Violence Law is considered like the law that protects women and girls, when in fact it protects the victim, whether woman, girl, man or boy.
This activity was organized in the frame of the project "Addressing domestic violence and gender-based violence in Durrës Municipality and Ishëm Adminis trative Unit".
