"Women, Safety, Peace," continued the awareness campaign in Korça University (video).

Albania is a country where weapons are still in the hands of the population, where wounds and murders are a current unresolved problem, security has been rocked serosically not only outside but also within our families, both traditional and modern.

The Association "Women, Safety, Peace" and the coalition with the same name, which includes 32 organizations, 4 of which are from the Region of Korca, are carrying out awareness among young people and women in the field of peace and security at the University premises Fan S. Noli Korça.

This awareness campaign is carried out in implementation of the project, United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, supported by UN Women Albania. The adoption of this plan enabled institutional actions to implement the agenda, "Women, Security, Peace".

The major role played by civil society in implementing this plan, the successful development of advocacy and advocacy campaigns for a new organization of voluntary armed delivery remains a priority, necessary and indispensable task.

Majlinda Bello, Deputy Rector of the University, spoke about the importance of the awareness and advocacy stage for the young people of the University, the recognition, support and implementation of Resolution 1325 by interpreting them in gender.

Violeta Tici, a member of the coalition, identifying the daily issues highlighted the necessity and necessity of this initiative to make her part of the youth, to have a safe and healthy life, to turn Albania into a safe place in peace, refusing weapons and violence.

Ramiza Ymeti and Dharma Mehmeti, representatives of the police, spoke specifically about the measures taken by the police in the field of public safety and the minimization of domestic violence.

The experts stressed the need for anagnostic of all, especially young people, for a safer place, without violence and weapons, especially against the violence of women and girls in family environment and society.
