The "Women, Peace and Security" Association and the Coalition with the same name, consisting of 32 civil society organizations from across the country, funded by UN Women, the Gender Equality Fund, together with the District Police staff Kukes, on June 6, have launched an awareness and lobbying campaign in the field of security and peace for women.

Within this Coalition is also the "For You Mother and Child" Association, Kukës, which organized a meeting with the students of the "Havzi Nela" Gymnasium, who appreciated the initiative, as the need for change and more security is a necessity in the development of today. These meetings are aimed at focusing on security issues related to the collection of weapons and the management of illegal weapons possession.

The motto "NO Weapons, Yes Life" will serve to raise awareness among young people, as well as promote them as lobbyists and active advocates, thus delivering the right information in the wider community. The youth were introduced to Resolution 1325, which aims to provide women with the protection and implementation of their rights.
